Dev Blog #65
Hello, comrades!

Together, we’re getting closer and closer to the release, and here it is — the final cockpit, the last piece needed for this milestone.
Earlier, in the 60th Dev Blog, we discussed its instrumentation, but we only showed the F-84 Thunderjet cockpit model itself, without textures. Now the textures are ready, and we’re ready as well to present the interior of this fascinating jet fighter in its final form.
Every time we watch the cockpits transform — as they fill color and scuffs — you can clearly see how a new aircraft begins to come to life. For us, the finished look of every new aircraft is a major event, preceded by the work of many, many specialists.
Every cockpit, every aircraft, is a long journey that begins with gathering reference information like documents and photographs and goes through an insane number of iterations of modeling, programming, texturing, project configuration, and testing.
Watching it all come to life is an indescribable pleasure. You see that all the time you've spent creating things like this isn’t wasted.
In the next week or two, this cockpit will enter beta testing. Although there is still quite a bit left to polish and debug, the project is getting closer to the stage of readiness when we can deliver it to those who pre-ordered as part of the early access program. We remind you that you can pre-order on our store page and gain access to the project well before the official release date.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already pre-ordered: it’s only thanks to you and your financial support that we can create such wonderful things and bring history to life.
And while the F-84 Thunderjet is the last aircraft for the game’s release, it’s not the last aircraft for the Korean theater of operations. Nor is this the last pre-release Dev Blog: there are still a few more issues ahead, which we’ll dedicate to the final look of the map and terrain, a list of all the new features, and other aspects of preparing for the release of our new simulator.
