The full release of Korea is just around the corner—the game officially launches on August 4. While we finish preparing for launch, we have released a hotfix with stability improvements and fixes for AI aircraft, Career, the interface, and other game elements.
We look forward to the official release and to welcoming new players alongside our Early Access pilots!
STABILITY
Fixed a game crash in multiplayer involving boats.
Fixed a game crash when a large number of particle effects were displayed simultaneously.
Fixed a game crash when a radar was determining the direction to airborne targets.
Fixed a rare game crash when updating interface elements—such as icons on the map.
AI AIRCRAFT
Fixed target tracking by AI-controlled aircraft when flying in an inverted position.
Fixed rocket guidance by AI-controlled aircraft when unlimited ammo is enabled.
When attacking with rockets, AI-controlled aircraft no longer avoid terrain features that do not obstruct the rocket's path to the target.
AI-controlled F-86 Sabre: fixed the operation of stepped airbrake control.
Improved rocket guidance against targets located on mountain peaks.
Improved terrain following by AI-controlled aircraft when attacking stationary targets.
Fixed the calculation of the distance required to pull out of a dive, which was preventing AI-controlled aircraft from attacking targets on the slopes of elevated terrain.
Improved ground target selection: search priorities and radius have been adjusted, and buildings have been removed from the list of available targets.
Reduced the priority of tanks as ground targets for AI-controlled aircraft when no bombs are carried.
Improved attack on targets located on mountain switchbacks.
Adjusted the condition for ending a maneuver: it now terminates once the controlled parameters - g-load, airspeed, and Mach number - drop to 90% of their threshold values.
Adjusted the conditions under which AI-controlled aircraft initiate the ascending spiral maneuver in aerial combat.
Fixed a situation where a downed aircraft was not counted in the statistics.
Simplified AI-controlled B-29: fire and critical damage are now tracked. If their effects are not resolved within five seconds, the pilot is killed and the aircraft is credited to the player as a kill.
Changed ground target selection priorities. AI-controlled aircraft now attack aircraft on the ground first, followed by tanks and locomotives, transport, ships and artillery, anti-aircraft artillery, and infantry last.
Fixed ground target selection priorities when an attack order is issued via the Commander Menu.
AI-controlled aircraft no longer attack buildings unless explicitly ordered to do so.
INTERFACE
Fixed target count in regiment statistics.
Fixed a situation where units could disappear from the reserve. An aircraft can now be replaced if the pilot does not have another aircraft assigned.
Fixed a reset of career generation parameters.
Fixed duplicate sending of mission results.
Current time is now accounted for more accurately during Auto Planning of missions.
The Replace Aircraft and Pilot File functions are now unavailable when no pilot is present.
Fixed a situation where the mission results screen would not close when career events were pending.
Improved saving of unit arrangement.
Fixed the alignment of certain squadron emblems.
Engine RPM and boost pressure data have been restored to telemetry output.
Fixed a situation where a second cursor would appear after switching between windows using Alt+Tab.
Fixed the tracking of large open hangar destruction on airfields in statistics.
Fixed the tracking of large bridge destruction in statistics.
Fixed the tracking of American radar destruction in statistics.
CAREER
Adjusted task completion tracking in night interception missions. A task is now considered complete after all bombers are destroyed, or after one is destroyed or damaged followed by a landing at the player's own airfield.
Adjusted interception target selection.
The set of night interception missions for the Eastern Bloc has been adjusted: they now focus on intercepting heavy bombers.
Corrected the basing dates for the 16th FIS at the end of 1951.
Fixed the airfield names for the basing locations of the 39th FIS.
Adjusted the logic for checking the availability conditions of the quick travel menu.
AIRCRAFT
F-86A-5: the trim indicator and stabilizer deflection value in the multi-menu now display correctly when adjusted.
La-11: the ammunition counter signal lamps now function correctly.
Fixed a situation where the starter would disengage after an unsuccessful engine start attempt.
Fixed engine starting with flight assistants disabled.
Fuel remaining is now correctly accounted for when returning to the cockpit after exiting the aircraft.
F-80: the automatic level flight hold mode no longer disengages at mission start regardless of altitude or selected loadout.
La-11: with engine control assistants enabled, combat power parameters no longer exceed the established limits.
Fixed the physics of aircraft contact with water during ditching.
Fixed a situation where the IL-10 pilot model appeared oversized and protruded outside the cockpit when viewed from the gunner’s position.
CAMERA
The camera reset command (Num 5) now fully returns the camera to its default position, including its roll angle.
CONTROLS AND DEVICES
Fixed the inversion of force neutral offset direction during roll trimming on FFBeast joysticks—the neutral position of the control stick now shifts in the correct direction.
Improved joystick reconnection after signal loss—for example, due to USB hub overload or temporary loss of device access. Reconnection is now faster and more stable, with fewer stutters.
Improved the behavior of force feedback joysticks: neutral stick position and force now change more realistically during flight.
Based on user feedback, the intensity and frequency of force feedback joystick vibration have been adjusted.
Thank you to all the players who sent us bug reports.
